Takemusu Aikido Torino Association

Takemusu Aikido Torino is a no profit association founded in 1999 with the mission of teacheng and advertising the traditional Aikido of Iwama.

The association was founded thanks to the effort of the deshi (students) of Giovanni Gerbi (V Dan Shin Shin Aiki Shuren Kai) and Stefano Di Carlo (IV Dan Shin Shin Aikid Shuren Kai).

All teachers of the association follow the teaching of Hitohiro Saito Sensei, son of the late master Morihiro Saito Sensei who preserved the tradition of this art as it was tought by the founder Morihei Ueshiba.

Hitohiro Sensei is currently teaching on a daily base in the Tanrenkan Dojo in Iwama (Japan).

Since Morihiro Saito Sensei passed away on May 13th, 2002, in respect of the tradition of the Iwama Aikido the Takemusu Aikido Torino Association, together with all its dojo joined the IWAMA SHINSHIN AIKI SHURENKAI as an Italian branch.
